Dr.-Ing. Martin Wittke

Parallel to his military service in the German army, Dr.-Ing. Martin Wittke began studying civil engineering at the RWTH Aachen. He graduated at the age of 22 with the focus on structural engineering. During his studies he received a scholarship of the German National Merit Foundation. Until today he maintains close contacts and supports the foundation regularly in selection of new scholarship holders.

In 2001 he started to work for WBI. He completed his doctorate in 2003 with the topic "Limitation of swelling pressure by means of self-sealing effects in connection with tunneling in anhydrite rock formations“, which he submitted externally at the RWTH Aachen.

Dr. Martin Wittke is a managing partner of WBI since 2007. He has published more than 30 papers in national and international scientific journals and proceedings on various topics.
